Our Personal Recommendations
Inside information by local people to help you
Eating out, places to visit and other recommendations
It is always great to get local first hand information and we have put together some of these from people, friends and family that live in the area.
Here are some of the key personal recommendations I would suggest you visit and we are working with some of our partnerships to give you the best value during your stay and we have some arrangements to bring you exclusive discounts in the form of vouchers in our product shop.
Please always check if they are open by calling them first, particularly during this time with covid-19 and new ways each business has to adapt. We have added a if dog friendly, for family friendly and if a voucher is or will be available through our product shop.

Polly is a wondeful breath of fresh air and knows her business well, my particular favourate treatment is her dema roller facial.

Trowel & Hammer is Lowestoft’s oldest pub & restaurant and is located on the coastline in the Pakefield area of Lowestoft.
They serve locally sourced & traditional food with a host of beers, ales and wines and have a spacious beer garden.
In colder weather they have the fires going and dogs are allowed in the bar areas and love meeting other doggies and when the fire is lit sleeping soundly.
